This smart sensor detects whether your door or window is opened or closed and sends the information to the Nedis SmartLife app. To do that, a Nedis Zigbee gateway (WIFIZBxxx) is required.This means you can do many different things automatically, e.g. to receive a notification when someone is at home or receive a reminder when a door or window is open.By combining the sensor with other products in the Nedis SmartLife app, you can use more SmartLife products from Nedis when a door is opened ( e.g. lamp, smart switch or siren) or turn off an element or air conditioner when the door is open.The compact size and the included battery with a life of up to one year (with six triggering points per day) that you can place the sensor wherever you want (within a distance of about 30 meters from a Zigbee gateway).
