Pico Plus RV1103 Linux AI Development Board with CortexA7 RISCV NPU, Edge AI Acceleration, Ethernet Port
Pico mini Linux development board (RV1103based)
Overview
A compact Linux development board built on the RV1103 chip. Features a single core ARM CortexA7 32bit core with NEON and FPU, plus a builtin RISCV MCU for lowpower tasks and fast startup. Designed for quick prototyping of vision, AI, and embedded networking applications.
Key benefits
efficiency video encoding: Intelligent encoding adapts to scene content and reduces bit rate by more than 50 percent compared to conventional CBR mode. Captured images remain definition while files shrink and usable storage effectively increases.
Ondevice AI acceleration: Builtin fourthgeneration NPU supports mixed quantization formats int4, int8, and int16. Delivers up to 1.0 TOPS for int4 and 0.5 TOPS for int8, providing accurate and efficient inference for common edge models.
Fast, lowpower operation: RISCV MCU enables lowpower fast startup and 250 ms fast capture. AI model library can load at startup so facial recognition and similar tasks can complete within 1 second.
Balanced memory and I O: 64 MB 16bit DDR2 DRAM provides the memory bandwidth needed for imaging and AI tasks. Default onboard storage is 128 MB SPI NAND flash.
Integrated peripherals: Builtin POR, audio codec, and MAC PHY simplify system design and reduce external component count.
