This A2-sized leather sheet is cut from black, full-grain vegetable tanned cowhide. It is professionally tanned, skived, and hand cut to a consistent thickness of approximately 1.2mm (±0.07mm). Measuring 420mm x 594mm (16.5 x 23.4 inches), it offers four times the surface area of an A4 sheet, making it ideal for structured leathercraft projects such as wallets, organisers, folios, satchels, and large accessories.The leather is made in Japan from humanely sourced hides and tanned using traditional vegetable methods under strict environmental standards. The black finish is applied during tanning and enhanced with a professional oil treatment for added flexibility and surface protection. Due to the oiled finish, this leather is not suitable for further dyeing, stamping, or lacquering.
