Automatic Transfer Switch is a PC-class infrequent change-over switch with a two-position design (main power A and standby power B), suitable for AC systems at 50–60 Hz and rated currents from 6 A to 63 A. Its primary function is to automatically switch from main power (A) to backup power (B) within less than 50 milliseconds upon failure of the main supply, ensuring continuous operation and minimizing downtime. When both sources are energized, power A is prioritized. NOTE: 1. Manual or automatic operation ensures reliable switching performance. However, during manual operation, opening/closing speed may vary between operators, potentially leading to excessive silver alloy contact wear. Therefore, the selector switch should only be moved to the manual position after all power sources are fully de-energized—strictly for inspection or maintenance purposes. 2. Under normal conditions, the selector switch must remain in the “Auto” (electric) position. If manual operation is required, move the selector to “Manual,” perform the operation, then return it to “Auto.” The control circuit (TSE) is energized immediately upon switching. Prolonged operation after switching may damage the control coil. The coil operates reliably within 85%–110% of its rated voltage. Input voltage below this range may cause overheating and coil failure. WARNING: The mode selection switch must be set to “Manual” before performing any manual operation.
