Wide Mouth Pool Skimmer Kit for Above Ground Pools, Efficient Debris Capture, Easy Wall Installation

Complete ThruWall Wide Mouth Skimmer Kit for Swimming Pools This thruwall wide mouth skimmer kit provides a practical way to keep pool water cleaner by trapping leaves, bugs, and surface debris before they reach the pump. The thruwall design mounts directly into the pool wall for efficient surface skimming and simplified plumbing connections. The wide mouth opening reduces clogging and improves debris capture, lowering routine maintenance time. Key benefits Effective debris capture: Wide mouth opening picks up larger leaves and floating debris that narrow skimmers miss, reducing strain on the pump and filter. Thruwall mounting: Installs directly through the pool wall for a secure, streamlined setup and straightforward connection to existing circulation plumbing. Ready for typical pool systems: Designed to integrate with common pool plumbing layouts and standard skimmer openings, so it works as a or upgrade option. Durable construction: Built from weatherresistant components to withstand poolside conditions and regular use. Simplifies maintenance: Keeps surface debris separate from the main filter basket and pump, making cleaning faster and less frequent. Features and attributes Function: Surface skimming to remove floating debris before it reaches the pump and filter. Compatibility: Fits standard thruwall pool openings and common pool circulation connections; suitable for use as a replacement or installation in compatible pool walls. Size: Wide mouth opening for improved surface coverage relative to standard narrow skimmers. Material: Constructed from corrosionresistant, poolgrade materials designed for outdoor aquatic environments. Performance: Designed to reduce clogging and improve debris removal efficiency, helping maintain clearer water and more reliable pump operation. Installation and use notes Typical installation requires cutting a thruwall opening to match the skimmer body, inserting the skimmer through the wall from inside the pool, and securing the faceplate and gaskets from the outside. Follow pool wall thickness recommendations for proper sealing. Compatible with common pool hoses and plumbing fittings; adaptors or standard connectors may be needed depending on existing equipment. Regularly inspect and empty the skimmer basket and check gaskets for wear to maintain performance. Practical use scenarios Replacement: Swap an old or cracked skimmer on an aboveground or inwall pool to restore efficient surface skimming and stop debris from reaching the pump. Seasonal upgrade: Install before peak swimming season to capture larger amounts of leaves and organic debris, reducing daily netting and filter backwashing. or relocated pump setup: Integrate the thruwall skimmer into a circulation layout or when relocating equipment to ensure effective surface debris removal before water reaches the pump.
