Tree Mulch Ring 4PCS 16.5 Inch Degradable Nonwoven Weed Control Mat for Breathable Root Protection

16.5 inch Round Tree Mulch Ring — breathable, degradable mulch mat for small trees and shrubs Product highlights Size and fit: 16.5 inch diameter round mulch ring designed to sit around the base of young trees, small ornamental trees, and larger shrubs. Material: nonwoven fabric that balances air flow with moisture retention to support a healthy root zone. Degradable construction: made from materials that break down over time so the mat does not need removal and contributes organic material back to the soil. Weed suppression: forms a physical barrier to reduce weed growth around the trunk, minimizing competition for nutrients and water. Easy to use: lay the ring around the tree base for immediate coverage. The mat is flexible and easy to trim or reposition for seasonal maintenance. Key benefits and problem solving Maintains rootzone moisture while allowing air circulation to reduce overly wet or compacted soil conditions. Reduces time spent weeding and the need for chemical weed control by blocking weed emergence around the trunk. Protects the trunk perimeter from mulch volcanoes and accidental lawn equipment damage when used as a defined ring. Decomposes over time, eliminating the need for removal and gradually returning material to the soil. Performance and care Designed to provide consistent coverage for immediate weed control and root protection. Simple maintenance: inspect periodically, reposition if needed, and trim for larger trunks as trees grow. Compatible with surface mulch such as wood chips or bark placed on for added insulation and appearance. Typical use scenarios Newly planted saplings in a residential yard to reduce weed competition and protect the root area during establishment. Small orchard or landscape rows where rapid, uniform weed suppression is needed without frequent herbicide use. Urban or street trees and containergrown specimens where a neat, lowmaintenance ring helps protect trunks and limit turf encroachment. What makes this product stand out Combines breathability and moisture retention in a single nonwoven material. Degradable design that reduces longterm maintenance. Easy installation and simple upkeep suitable for gardeners, landscapers, and property managers.
