36 Inch Compost Spreader Roller, Heavy Duty Metal Mesh Peat Moss Spreader for Lawn and Garden

Peat Moss Spreader is a walk behind surface roller designed to make lawn care faster, neater, and more consistent. It combines a large rotating drum and a rolling mesh basket to sift and distribute peat moss, compost, and screened soil evenly across lawns and garden beds. Key benefits Faster work with less effort: the rotating 36 inch drum covers wide swaths, reducing the number of shovel loads and passes needed for topdressing and soil distribution. Even, consistent spreading: steel metal mesh baskets with diamond shaped 1/2 inch by 1 inch open slits and a rolling design deliver larger chunks and finer material uniformly across the surface. Less material waste: the built in compost sifter spreads peat moss and soil more efficiently, helping materials go further and cutting overall waste. Durable and easy to use: steel construction, a large hinged refill door, and a reinforced double side latch provide secure handling during rolling, tipping, and tumbling operations. Main features and specifications Function: sifts and spreads peat moss, compost, screened soil, and topdressing materials while rolling across the lawn. Drum width: 36 inch rotating drum for broad coverage and fewer passes. Basket design: steel metal mesh with diamond shaped 1/2 inch by 1 inch open slits for uniform distribution of mixed particle sizes. Latch system: double side latch prevents lock crushing during rolling and keeps the basket closed during tipping and tumbling; latches open easily to remove excess material before reloading. Refill access: large hinged opening for fast and convenient refilling. Operation: walk behind surface roller design for controlled, hands spreading during operation. Practical use scenarios Overseeding and topdressing: evenly distribute peat moss and screened soil when preparing a lawn for overseeding to create a consistent seedbed. Compost and mulch application: spread compost or coarse mulch across garden beds and vegetable plots with uniform coverage and fewer passes. Soil and leveling: apply soil amendments or topsoil to low spots and traffic areas to restore grade and promote uniform growth. How it solves common problems Replaces time consuming shovel work with a single rolling pass that spreads material evenly. Handles mixed particle sizes without clogging thanks to the diamond mesh design. Keeps material secure during movement with reinforced latches and a hinged refill door for quick loading. Simple operation tips Fill the drum through the hinged door and secure both side latches before rolling. Walk at an even pace for consistent distribution. Open the latches to remove excess material when laying is complete, then reload as needed. This Peat Moss Spreader offers a practical, durable solution for homeowners and landscapers who need efficient, even distribution of peat moss, compost, and soil for lawn care and garden maintenance.
