Clear Polycarbonate Roofing Panels 0.5x8m Impact Resistant Weatherproof Sheet for Pergola Greenhouse

Clear Polycarbonate Corrugated Roof Panel Size: 0.5 x 8 m (1.64 x 26.24 ft) Color: Clear Thickness: 0.8 mm Light transmission: 75 to 85 percent Key benefits Natural light with privacy and weather protection: transparency ensures strong daylight penetration while the clear polycarbonate material provides waterproofing, heat insulation, and cold protection for covered spaces. Durable and impact resistant: Fiberglass reinforcement in the corrugated surface increases loadbearing capacity and resistance to impact and deformation, extending service life under normal outdoor conditions. Lightweight and easy to work with: At 0.8 mm thickness this panel is easy to handle, cut, and install, making it suitable for both DIY and professional projects. Low maintenance: Smooth, dustresistant surface is simple to clean and when needed. What makes it useful The combination of transparency and thermal performance lets plants in greenhouses receive abundant light while moderating temperature swings. The reinforced corrugated profile adds structural strength without adding excessive weight, so it can be mounted on common framing materials. Designed for straightforward cutting and attachment, the panel reduces installation time and simplifies repairs. Features and specifications Material: Transparent polycarbonate with fiberglass reinforcement Size: 0.5 x 8 m (1.64 x 26.24 ft) Color: Clear Thickness: 0.8 mm Light transmission: 75 to 85 percent Properties: Waterproof, heat insulation, cold protection, dust resistant, aging resistant, impact resistant Suitable applications Greenhouses and plant nurseries where light transmission and thermal regulation are important Patio covers, pergolas, and skylights to admit daylight while protecting against rain and temperature changes Carports and outdoor shelters that require a lightweight, durable roofing material with good impact resistance Installation tips Cut with common plastic or finetooth saw blades and drill pilot holes to avoid cracking. Use compatible fasteners and rubber washers to maintain waterproofing at attachment points. Support spacing should follow common practice for corrugated panels of similar thickness and load requirements; reinforce spans when expecting heavy loads. This clear polycarbonate panel offers a balance of light transmission, thermal performance, and mechanical strength for a range of outdoor roofing and glazing needs.
