grass proof cloth 1 x 100 m roll, black, PE Product overview A heavyduty, permeable landscape fabric designed to suppress weeds, improve soil stability, and support drainage. Key benefits Effective weed control while maintaining soil health: blocks weed growth at the surface but allows air, water, and nutrients to pass through to plant roots. Durable construction: woven PE resists tearing, punctures, and UV exposure for extended outdoor use. Permeable and breathable: prevents waterlogging and promotes healthy root development, unlike nonporous plastic sheeting. Easy to handle and install: lightweight, simple to cut with scissors or a utility knife, and quick to secure with garden staples or pins. Versatile applications: suitable for beds, paths, driveways, slope stabilization, drainage layers, and subgrade reinforcement. Features and specifications Size: 1 x 100 m roll Color: black Material: polyethylene (PE) Included: 1 x weeding cloth Performance: permeable, tear resistant, UV resistant Installation tips Measure and cut the cloth to fit the area, allowing overlap of 10 to 20 cm at seams. Secure edges and overlaps with staples or landscape pins every 30 to 50 cm. Cover with mulch, gravel, soil, or paving material as required for the application. For planting within beds, cut a cross or X shape, fold back, place the plant, and the fabric around the stem to minimize gaps. Practical use scenarios 1) Garden beds and pathways: Lay the cloth beneath mulch or decorative stone to reduce weeding and lower maintenance for flower beds, vegetable plots, and garden paths. 2) Driveway and base stabilization: Place the fabric over compacted subgrade before adding gravel to help separate layers, reduce mud migration, and improve load distribution. 3) Erosion control and drainage: Use on slopes, embankments, or behind retaining walls to stabilize soil, allow water to drain through, and reduce surface erosion. Why choose this product This grass proof cloth combines permeability, strength, and ease of installation in a single 1 x 100 m roll. Its PE construction and practical size make it a reliable choice for homeowners and professionals needing a straightforward solution for weed suppression, soil protection, and ground stabilization.
