Pour the prepared Dark Pink dye into a suitable dish, then work it across the leather while alternating the brush direction to reduce streaking. Allow the piece to dry completely before evaluating the colour or applying another coat.Test the selected concentration on an identical scrap of leather before treating the main piece. Dyed leather appears darker while wet, so assess the Dark Pink result only after full drying. When the desired colour has been reached, apply 2 to 3 coats of Craft Sha Leather Lacquer to help reduce rubbing off or fading.Please note that leather dyes will only yield desired results on untreated and uncoloured vegetable tanned leather. Application of dyes to already dyed/coloured leather will result in discolouration and darkening of the existing leather colour, and application of dyes on treated (e.g., waxed, lacquered, oiled, etc.) leather may result in inconsistent absorption.
