40 Micron Inline Brass Spin Down Sediment Water Filter, Reusable Stainless Mesh for Well Water, Washer and Shower

Inline Brass Sediment Water Filter with Reusable 40 Micron Stainless Steel Mesh Key benefits Durable metal construction: Solid brass cover and 304 stainless steel internals resist corrosion and provide longterm service life. Materials are from BPA and lead. Effective sediment removal: 40 micron 304 stainless steel mesh captures rust, silt, sand, debris, lint, and fibers to reduce scale buildup and protect downstream equipment. Reusable and easy to clean: Removable mesh cartridge can be rinsed under running water. Housing unscrews and the white plastic base rotates to separate the mesh from the support frame for quick maintenance. Flexible installation: American standard threaded design fits standard 1/2inch NPT and 3/4inch GHT pipe connections. Both ends can act as inlet or outlet for installation flexibility. Includes extra 3/4inch GHT male and 1/2inch NPT female extension adapters to support DN15 and DN20 pipe sizes. Robust transparent housing: Freeze resistant and engineered for water hammer protection, designed to withstand repeated impacts without expansion, rupture, or leakage. Transparent housing makes contamination levels visible for timely cleaning. What it does This inline sediment filter removes suspended particles from well water and municipal tap water before they reach appliances and fixtures. The fine 40 micron stainless steel mesh captures particulates while preserving dissolved solids, so total dissolved solids are not reduced by the filter. The metal and stainless internals provide mechanical strength and corrosion resistance compared with plasticonly designs. Main features Materials: Solid brass cover, 304 stainless steel mesh and internal components, BPA and lead plastics where used. Filtration element: 40 micron ultrafine stainless steel mesh, reusable. Connections: Fits 1/2inch NPT and 3/4inch GHT threads; both ends usable as inlet or outlet. Adapters included: 3/4inch GHT male and 1/2inch NPT female extension adapters. Compatibility: Supports DN15 and DN20 pipe sizes. Housing: Transparent, freeze resistant, water hammer resistant. Typical applications Washing machines: Install on the washing machine inlet or as an internal washing machine filter to prevent lint, rust, and sediment from entering the appliance. Water heaters and boilers: Protect heating elements and reduce sediment buildup in tanks and heat exchangers. Showers, RVs, boats, and spas: Use upstream of fixtures and pumps to prevent clogging and maintain flow. Other uses: Undersink installations, garden pumps, and general inline protection for pumps and valves. Simple maintenance Turn off water and relieve pressure. Unscrew the housing. Rotate the white plastic base to separate the mesh from the support frame, remove the cartridge, and rinse thoroughly under running water. Reassemble. Routine cleaning restores flow and filtration performance. Why choose this filter This inline filter combines metal durability, a fine reusable stainless steel mesh, and a transparent impactresistant housing to protect appliances and plumbing from sediment. Installation is straightforward on commonly used thread standards and includes adapters for wider compatibility. The reusable mesh and visible contamination indicator make maintenance fast and predictable.
