Whole House Sediment Filter 40‑60 Micron Reusable Flushable Spin Down Prefilter for Well or City Water 1 Inch MNPT

Spin Down Sediment Filter 40 to 60 Micron Whole house, reusable, flushable sediment prefilter for city or well water Connection sizes: 1 inch MNPT, 3/4 inch FNPT, 3/4 inch MNPT Why you need it Stops sand, grit, rust particles, and larger sediment from entering downstream plumbing and equipment. Extends the life of appliances and filtration systems by capturing solids before they reach sensitive components. Reusable and flushable design reduces ongoing cartridge replacement and routine maintenance time. Key benefits and features Reliable particle capture: Rated 40 to 60 micron to remove coarse sediment common in well and municipal supplies. Flushable and reusable: Clear sediment removal without frequent disassembly; simply flush to clear captured material and restore flow. Flexible plumbing compatibility: Supplied thread sizes match common installations with 1 inch MNPT, 3/4 inch FNPT, and 3/4 inch MNPT connections for easy integration into main lines or branch runs. Designed for whole house use: Works as a prefilter ahead of water heaters, pumps, softeners, and point of use filters. Durable, lowmaintenance design: Built for repeated flushing cycles and routine household service schedules. Practical applications Well water prefiltration: Install as the firstline filter on a private well to remove sand and coarse sediment before it reaches the pump or pressure tank. Whole house protection: Mount at the main water inlet to protect water heaters, washing machines, and plumbing fixtures from abrasive particles. Irrigation and outdoor systems: Use ahead of irrigation valves and sprinkler systems to prevent clogging of nozzles and emitters. Installation and use notes Designed for inline installation on standard NPT threaded plumbing. Check thread orientation and required adapters before installation. Periodic flushing is required to remove collected sediment; frequency depends on sediment load in the supply. Compatible with both city and well water supplies where coarse sediment removal is needed. This spin down sediment filter provides a practical, lowmaintenance solution for protecting household plumbing and equipment from sediment damage while offering simple flushing and reusable operation for ongoing cost efficiency.
