Rainproof Photocell Light Sensor Switch 220V with Automatic Dusk to Dawn Control for Street Lights

Automatic dusk to dawn illumination controller with builtin light detection. The unit turns lighting and similar loads off automatically during daylight and on automatically at night, providing hands control and more consistent operation. Key benefits Reliable automatic switching: Builtin illumination detection ensures lights are off in daytime and on at night without manual intervention. Reduces false triggers: A builtin 3 to 5 second delay filters out shortterm changes in ambient light, preventing flicker and unnecessary switching. Broad compatibility: Works with resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads, covering a wide range of lamp types and small motors. Simple threewire installation: Designed for straightforward integration into existing threewire circuits for lighting and exhaust fan control. Improves operational stability: Delay and detection circuitry combine to provide steady, predictable switching under changing environmental conditions. Function and performance Automatic detection circuit for illumination inside; switches outputs off during the day and on at night. Delay function when environmental light changes; delay time is 3 to 5 seconds to avoid false switching caused by brief fluctuations. Accepts a range of load types including resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads for dependable performance with modern lighting technologies. Compatibility Control objects include LED lights, fluorescent lights, incandescent lights, exhaust fan lights, and similar fixtures and devices. Suitable for use with various lamp types and small motordriven exhaust fans thanks to compatibility with multiple load types. Practical applications Outdoor and security lighting: Automatic dusk to dawn control for pathway, garden, and exterior building lights. Commercial and common areas: Corridor, stairwell, and warehouse lighting that must switch reliably at nightfall. Ventilation and exhaust control: Nighttime control of bathroom or kitchen exhaust fan lights, avoiding false starts from brief light changes. Additional notes Designed for threewire electrical systems and a variety of lamp loads. The 3 to 5 second delay enhances switching stability in environments with intermittent or quickly changing light conditions.
