It allows you to switch between different setups without changing the plate itself, making it practical to move your camera from a stabiliser to a slider or tripod as needed. Increased Distance Between Stabiliser and Camera When used with stabilisers, the plate helps to increase the distance between the stabiliser and the camera. This can be useful for achieving a more balanced or comfortable setup during use. Standard Mounting Options Both the base and the top of the plate are compatible with 38 mm specifications. On the bottom, there are reserved 1/4 and 3/8 screw holes, which allow you to install the plate directly onto a tripod or mount it onto a ball head. This gives you flexibility in how you attach your equipment.
