Winch Cable Hook Stopper Rubber for ATV UTV Winch Accessories, Shock Absorption, Anti Abrasion, Easy Allen Key Installation

Winch Cable Hook Stopper Rubber with Allen Key A durable rubber hook stopper designed for ATV and UTV winches. Absorbs shock, reduces hook bounce, and limits cable abrasion during recoveries and pulling tasks. Includes an Allen key for quick installation. Key benefits Shock absorption: Cushions the impact when the hook reaches the end of the cable, reducing sudden loads and hook bounce. Reduces abrasion: Creates a soft contact point between the hook and cable or fairlead to help reduce wear on metal parts. Secure stopping: Keeps the hook from overrunning the drum or fairlead, improving control during retraction and release. Easy to install: Installs quickly using the included Allen key; no special tools required. Compact and versatile: Designed to fit common ATV and UTV winch hooks and mounting pins without adding bulk. Features and specifications Material: Flexible, durable rubber formulated to withstand repeated compressions and outdoor conditions. Included tool: Allen key supplied for tightening set screws or securing the stopper to the hook pin. Function: Acts as a physical buffer and interceptor to limit hook movement, absorb shocks, and reduce bouncing and abrasion during pulls. Fit: Compact design intended for compatibility with typical winch hooks used on ATVs and UTVs. Check hook pin diameter and slot dimensions before installation for fit. Performance: Maintains shape under load cycles and provides consistent damping to improve handling during winch operations. Installation and use Slide the stopper over the hook pin or position it on the hook per the hook geometry. Tighten the set screw(s) with the included Allen key to secure the stopper in place. Verify clearance with the fairlead and drum before first use, then perform a test pull at low load. Practical applications Offroad recovery: Reduce hook bounce and sudden jerks when pulling a vehicle out of mud or over uneven terrain. Trail maintenance and hauling: Provide a buffer when tensioning loads or dragging equipment, protecting winch components from repeated impact. Farm and property use: Improve control and reduce abrasion when winching logs, gates, or utility trailers into position.
