Plastic Mulch Film 95cm Black Polyethylene Roll, Perforated 5 Holes for Tomato Strawberry Weed Control

Product overview This perforated black mulch film is made from polyethylene plastic. It is a lightweight sheet that is easy to lay yet strong enough to withstand routine garden use. Use it to reduce weed growth around plants, conserve soil warmth and moisture, and simplify bed preparation. Key benefits Easy to install: thin, flexible film lies flat and can be pegged down quickly at the start of the season. Weed suppression: covers soil to limit weed emergence in planting rows. Moisture and warmth retention: helps reduce surface evaporation and supports soil warmth for developing plants. Durable for season use: despite its light gauge, the material provides reliable performance throughout normal growing cycles. No endofseason debris: designed to be worked into the soil after use for convenient cleanup. Product specifications Material: plastic, polyethylene (PE) Film width: 95 cm Perforation pattern: 5 holes per row Hole spacing: 15 cm between hole centers Hole diameter: 45 mm Film thickness: 0.02 mm Weight: approximately 175 g per 10 m roll Color: black, with precut planting holes How it works Lay the film over prepared soil beds or raised rows and peg the edges to secure it. Plant through the precut 45 mm holes spaced at 15 cm centers. The film helps limit weed growth on exposed soil, reduce evaporation from the soil surface, and retain soil warmth around plant roots. At the end of the season the film can be turned into the soil as part of bed preparation. Installation tips Prepare the soil surface by removing larger debris and leveling. Unroll the film along the planting row with the holes aligned to plant spacing. Peg the film along the edges and at intervals to prevent wind lift. Place plants or seedlings through the 45 mm holes. Hole spacing of 15 cm is suitable for closerow plantings and can be adapted for many smallfruit and vegetable layouts. For raised beds, trim excess film and secure edges under the soil or with pegs. Suitable applications Vegetable rows: use for crops planted in close spacing such as lettuce, spinach, or small herbs where 15 cm hole spacing is appropriate. Strawberry and small fruit beds: laid along runner beds to reduce visible weeds and retain soil moisture. Greenhouse benches and seedling blocks: use to manage surface weeds and maintain consistent moisture around transplants. Compatibility and performance notes The 95 cm film width fits single planting rows or narrow raised beds. Multiple strips can be used side by side for wider beds. Five holes per row at 15 cm spacing and 45 mm hole diameter suit small to medium transplants and young plants. The thin 0.02 mm film and 175 g per 10 m weight make the roll compact and easy to handle for manual installation. What is included One roll of perforated black mulch film, 95 cm wide, with specified hole pattern and approximate weight as listed. Practical considerations Store rolls flat or standing on end in a dry location prior to use. Use garden pegs or staples to secure the film, especially in windy conditions. Match hole spacing and diameter to your plant spacing and transplant sizes before laying to avoid excess cutting in the field. This product offers a straightforward way to manage weeds and soil conditions for rowplanted vegetables, berry beds, and greenhouse applications while keeping installation and cleanup simple.
