Installation and basic wiring Turn off all power and load switches before wiring. Confirm polarity of all connections. Reversed polarity can damage the converter. Connect OUTPUT to load negative and OUTPUT+ to load positive. Connect a suitable fuse or circuit breaker to INPUT+ before connecting to the battery or supply positive. Connect INPUT to the battery or supply negative. If an ACC port is present, connect it to the ignition switch. If ACC is not used, tie it to INPUT+.
