HDMI Extender Over Ethernet Cat6 180Ft Full HD 1080P with Gigabit Switch for Multiple Displays

HDMI Extender over Single Cat5e or Cat6 Cable Overview Extend definition HDMI audio and video signals up to 180 feet using a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. This extender replaces long HDMI runs with affordable network cabling while maintaining full HD performance and reducing signal loss, clutter, and interference. Key Benefits Longdistance transmission: Carry HDMI signals up to 180 feet over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable to simplify installation across rooms or floors. Cost and space savings: costly, bulky HDMI cables with inexpensive, thin network cable to reduce material cost and cable congestion. Reliable full HD performance: Supports up to 1920x1080p at 60Hz and is backward compatible with 1080p30, 1080i, and 720p formats. Flexible multidisplay distribution: Use an independent Gigabit Ethernet switch to distribute the signal to multiple displays via MACbased routing. Note: incompatible with 100 Mbps switches. Durable, lowmaintenance design: Plugandplay setup with no software required and a sturdy metal enclosure for long service life. Performance and Compatibility Signal type: HDMI audio and video transmitted over single Cat5e or Cat6 cable (Cat6 recommended for performance). Maximum extender distance: Up to 180 feet between transmitter and receiver using a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. HDMI cable support: Compatible with AWG 26 HDMI standard cables with input reach up to 40 feet and output reach up to 50 feet. Resolution support: 1920x1080p at 60Hz maximum; backward compatible with 1080p30, 1080i, and 720p. Network distribution: Requires an independent Gigabit Ethernet switch for multiTV setups; uses MACbased distribution and will not function correctly on 100 Mbps switches. Installation and Hardware Setup: True plugandplay installation, no drivers or software required. Construction: Rugged metal shell for durable, professional installations. Connections: HDMI input and output using standard HDMI cables, Cat5e or Cat6 for the longrun link between TX and RX; use AWG 26 HDMI cables where specified for results. Practical Use Scenarios Conference rooms: Send a single laptop or AV source to a projector or wallmounted display up to 180 feet away without running long HDMI cables, and distribute to multiple screens using a Gigabit switch. Education and corporate training: Route a single definition lesson or presentation to multiple classrooms or training rooms from a central AV source. Digital signage and data centers: Deliver secure, lownoise video feeds to remote displays for information distribution, control rooms, or monitoring stations. What this product solves Eliminates the need for long HDMI cables and the signal degradation they can introduce. Reduces cable bulk and expense while maintaining full HD video and audio quality. Enables multidisplay deployments with MACbased distribution over Gigabit networks. Offers a simple, durable solution for professional AV installations without software configuration. Technical Notes Use Cat6 cable for performance and stability over long runs. For multiTV setups, ensure the Ethernet switch is Gigabit and that distribution is MACbased; 100 Mbps switches are not supported. When using AWG 26 HDMI cables, observe the specified input and output distance limits of 40 feet and 50 feet respectively. This HDMI extender provides a practical, reliable way to extend and distribute full HD video over standard network cabling for professional and institutional AV deployments.
