Multifunctional Transistor Tester with Backlit Display This compact transistor tester combines several diagnostic tools in one handheld unit, making it a practical addition to any electronics workbench. The backlit TFT screen presents readings clearly, even in dimly lit conditions, so you can identify components quickly and accurately. It is designed to test NPN and PNP transistors, capacitors, resistors, diodes, triodes, N-channel and P-channel MOSFETs, IGBTs, JFETs, triacs and batteries, covering the majority of components you are likely to encounter in everyday repair and hobby work. Infrared Detection and Remote Control Decoding Beyond standard component testing, this device also handles infrared diagnostics. You can point an infrared remote control at the IR sensor on the tester to decode its data code and view the resulting waveform on the display. This is particularly useful when you need to verify whether a remote is transmitting a signal or to identify the protocol it uses. The tester also detects infrared waveforms directly, giving you a second way to check IR emitters and receivers. Zener Diode Testing and Self-Calibration Zener diodes can be awkward to identify by eye, but this tester detects them. A built-in self-calibration function is included. This combination of features makes the tester a straightforward choice for anyone who wants a single, portable tool for component checking and basic infrared work.
