EMC Near Field Probe Kit for EMI Detection This near-field probe kit is designed for locating EMI interference sources in electronic modules. The probes are built on a 4-layer FR-4 PCB with striplines routed on the first inner layer and the other inner layers filled with copper. Compared to 2-layer PCB probes, this design helps reduce unwanted coupling and improves accuracy in pinpointing interference. The kit includes: - One 28mm H-field circular probe - One 4.5mm H-field circular probe - One E-field probe How to use: Start with the larger probe to find the approximate location of the interference, then switch to the smaller probe to narrow down the search area and gradually identify the magnetic field source. These low-cost near-field probes work with the tinySA ULTRA and similar spectrum analyzers, allowing for efficient, accurate, and flexible EMI troubleshooting. When connected to the tinySA ULTRA, its built-in LNA typically provides enough sensitivity without needing an external LNA. If you do use an external LNA for weak signal detection, turn off the built-in LNA to avoid overloading.
