DIY Dual Lens Reflex Film Camera for 35mm Film

A Hands-On Retro Camera Project This dual lens film camera offers a refreshingly different way to enjoy photography. Rather than arriving ready to shoot, it arrives as a build-it-yourself kit, giving you the chance to assemble your own working 35 mm TLR camera. The construction process is engaging in its own right, and it also provides a clear understanding of how each component contributes to the final image. Once assembled, you have a fully functional camera that captures photos on standard 135 film. Built for Classic Composition The camera features two lenses, one for exposing the film and a second that serves as a viewfinder for framing your shots. This classic twin-lens reflex design allows you to compose your pictures from waist height, offering a steadier and more considered approach to taking photographs. It is a simple yet effective way to frame each shot, harking back to a more deliberate style of photography. A Nostalgic Shooting Experience Using the camera is wonderfully straightforward. Simply pull down the photo handler to advance the film and prepare for the next exposure. This tactile, hands-on process evokes the charm of black and white photography from the last century, making every shot feel like a small ritual. It is an ideal project for anyone who enjoys building something with their own hands and wants to experience the rewarding process of creating images with a camera they have assembled themselves.
