Black Plastic Mulch Film 1x30m for Weed Control and Moisture Retention, Durable PE Agricultural Cover for Vegetables and Strawberries

Agriculture PE mulch film for plant covers and greenhouse use. Durable polyethylene construction with low light transmittance to reduce soil water evaporation, suppress weed growth, and help maintain soil moisture. Key benefits Improved plant growth through moisture retention and weed suppression. Reduced water evaporation from soil, lowering irrigation frequency. Restores and preserves soil moisture to support steady growth. Effective weed control by blocking light at the soil surface. Product details Material: PE (polyethylene) film Thickness: 14 micron Available lengths: 10 m, 20 m, 30 m, 50 m Available widths: 1 m, 2 m Color: Black Design: Common mulch film without holes, suitable for greenhouse and field ground cover Performance and function Low light transmittance limits sunlight reaching weed seeds and seedlings, inhibiting weed emergence. Slower warming compared with transparent film, while the ground cover can reduce ground temperature and help maintain stable soil moisture. Black color absorbs light at the surface to protect roots from direct light exposure and further restrict weed growth. Strong and durable PE construction suited to repeated handling and field use. Practical applications Summer cultivation of radish and cabbage where soil moisture needs to be retained and weeds are prevalent. Autumn cucumber beds and lateseason tomato plantings during periods of temperature or severe weed pressure. Ground cover in greenhouse pathways and beds to reduce irrigation needs and simplify weed management. Usage tips Choose width and length to match bed size for effective coverage. Lay film smoothly on prepared soil and secure edges to prevent wind lift. Monitor soil temperature and moisture, especially when transitioning between seasons. This mulch film provides a straightforward, durable solution for moisture management and weed control in greenhouse and open field cultivation.
