400W 2-Way Speaker Crossover 4-16 Ohm Frequency Splitter

Adjusting Bass and Treble Response This 400W two-way speaker crossover divides the audio signal between high and low frequency drivers, making it suitable for use with speakers rated between 4 and 16 ohms. The unit gives you manual control over the bass and treble output so you can tailor the sound to suit your enclosure and listening preferences. Controlling the Bass Range Jumpers A and B govern the bass frequency range. Jumper A sets the lower limit, while Jumper B sets the upper limit. If your speaker produces distortion when the bass is turned up too high, removing the jumper cap from A restricts the very low bass and helps reduce that distortion. Removing the cap from B increases bass output, whereas leaving the cap on B reduces it. Managing the Treble Range Jumpers C and D control the high frequency range. With both caps fitted, the treble is at its loudest, which is useful when you want extra presence and clarity from the higher notes. Removing one or both caps lowers the high frequency output, allowing you to balance the overall response to match your drivers and cabinet design.
