Rubber U Channel Edge Trim Strip 4.5m, Edge Protector for 1.5-2mm Edges, Black

U Channel Edge Trim for Protection and Finishing This U channel edge strip offers a neat, practical way to protect and finish exposed edges around the home or workshop. Made from durable rubber, it is designed to withstand wear, heat and moisture, making it a reliable choice for long-term use. The strip measures 4.5 metres (14.8 ft) in length and fits edges with a thickness between 1.5 mm and 2 mm, with a profile of 15/64 inch width by 7/16 inch height. Simple to Fit and Adjust Installation is straightforward and requires no complex steps. The U channel can be pressed directly onto the edge, and for a more secure hold, a little additional glue is recommended. The rubber is flexible enough to bend around normal corners and tighter angles, and it can be trimmed easily with scissors to achieve the exact length you need. Practical and Versatile Use Beyond simple edge protection, this trim works well as a decorative edging to give projects a clean, finished look. It also helps to dampen noise where panels or components meet, reducing vibration and rattling in everyday use. Whether you are tidying up sheet metal, glass, or other sharp-edged materials, this strip offers a simple and effective solution.
