Macro Reverse Ring 55mm Reversing Adapter for Nikon Cameras

Macro Reverse Ring for Nikon Cameras This macro reverse ring lets you mount a lens in reverse onto your Nikon camera body, turning a standard lens into a capable tool for extreme close-up photography. Designed for cameras with a 55 mm mount diameter, the ring has a total outer diameter of 70 mm and accepts lenses with a 67 mm filter thread. It works with both analogue and digital Nikon models, offering a straightforward way to explore macro photography without investing in a dedicated macro lens. Practical Design for Close-Up Work By reversing the lens, you change its optical behaviour and achieve much higher magnification than normal focusing distances allow. This is a low-cost solution for anyone wanting to try extreme macro shots, whether photographing small subjects, textures or fine detail. The ring itself is simple to fit, and the reversed lens attaches securely via the 67 mm filter thread. Compatibility Notes Please note that on some Nikon models, the roof prism housing may interfere with rings of this diameter. If you are unsure whether the ring will fit your specific camera body, it is advisable to measure the available clearance in advance. The total diameter of the ring is 70 mm, so checking this against your camera will help confirm a proper fit before purchase.
