Adjustable Two-Way Crossover for Clearer Full-Range Sound The YLY-2088 is a 400 W adjustable two-way audio frequency divider, designed to split the full-range signal into dedicated bass and treble outputs for your speaker system. With four simple jumper controls, you can fine-tune the frequency response to suit your speakers and listening environment, helping you achieve a cleaner, more balanced sound without the need for additional equipment. Fine-Tune the Bass Response The bass range is managed by Jumper A and Jumper B. Jumper A sets the lower limit of the bass audio range, while Jumper B controls the upper limit. On speakers that struggle with very low frequencies, excessive bass can cause audible distortion. In this situation, removing the jumper cap from Jumper A limits the extremely low bass and helps reduce distortion. When the cap is removed from Jumper B, the bass level is increased; when the cap is fitted, the bass is reduced. This gives you practical control over how much low-end your speakers reproduce. Adjust the Treble Output Jumpers C and D are used to control the height range of the audio signal. When the caps on both Jumper C and Jumper D are fitted, the treble sound is at its loudest. This allows you to adjust the upper frequencies to match your preference or to compensate for the acoustic characteristics of your room.
