Self-Adhesive PVC Floor Transition Strip for Carpet to Tile Thresholds, Cuttable Edge Trim, 3.5 cm Wide, Grey, 16 m

Threshold Strip for Smooth Floor Transitions This PVC threshold strip creates a neat, secure transition where two floor surfaces meet, making it ideal for doorways, room entrances and any spot where carpet, tiles or other flooring leaves an exposed gap. At less than 5 mm high and 3.5 cm wide, it sits low and unobtrusive while providing a clean finish between carpet and floor tiles, floor to carpet, or carpet to floor. The strip is supplied in a 16 m length and can be cut to size, so you can trim it to fit your exact doorway or threshold width. Practical and Hardwearing Design Made from flexible, lightweight PVC, this edge strip is built to cope with busy areas of the home. It is water-resistant, easy to wipe clean and simple to maintain, while the durable construction holds up well to regular foot traffic. The surface has a slip-resistant texture that increases friction underfoot, helping to keep movement across the threshold safe and secure from all directions. Simple Self-Adhesive Installation Fitting is straightforward thanks to the adhesive backing on the reverse of the strip. Simply peel off the backing, position the strip where needed and press it into place to secure the carpet edge. For uneven surfaces such as concrete, if the tape does not hold firmly enough, you can reinforce it with structural adhesive or nails, both of which you would need to supply yourself.
