Removing the cap from Jumper B increases bass output, whereas leaving the cap in place reduces it. Treble Adjustment Jumpers C and D control the high-frequency output. With both caps fitted, the treble is at its loudest, which is useful for brightening a dull-sounding system or compensating for a soft tweeter. Removing one or both caps lowers the treble level, giving you a simple way to balance the overall response without additional components.
