8 Inch Tree Felling Wedge Set 3 Pack ABS Plastic Logging Wedges with Directional Felling Control

3 Pack of 8 Inch ABS Logging Bucking Falling Wedges A practical set of three 8 inch tree wedges made from impact resistant ABS plastic, designed to help control tree direction, prevent saw pinching, and assist with bucking and splitting tasks. Lightweight and reusable, these wedges are suitable for professional loggers, arborists, and homeowners who need reliable support during cutting operations. Key benefits Prevents saw pinching and stuck chains by keeping the felling cut and bucking kerf open. Improves control over tree fall direction and helps manage tension in leaning or partially cut trees. Durable ABS construction provides good impact resistance while remaining lighter than metal wedges for easier handling and transport. Reusable and easy to clean, with no rust or corrosion unlike metal alternatives. Pack of three gives spares on the jobsite or allows use at multiple locations. Features and specifications Pack count: 3 wedges. Size: 8 inch length per wedge. Material: ABS plastic for strength and reduced weight. Function: falling wedge for directional felling, bucking wedge to hold open kerf and aid log splitting. Compatibility: Works with standard chainsaw operations, manual felling tools, and general logging equipment. How it solves common problems Keeps the kerf open to prevent bar pinch when cutting logs under tension. Helps guide a tree to fall toward the intended direction, reducing unpredictable movement during felling. Assists with splitting or separating logs when making bucking cuts on large diameter wood. Typical use scenarios Directional felling: Insert the wedge into the back of the face cut and drive it in to nudge a leaning tree toward the planned fall line. Bucking tension logs: Place a wedge in the or bottom cut to keep the cut open and prevent the chainsaw bar from binding when cutting through tensioned wood. Log splitting and sawing assistance: Use wedges to begin a separation in large logs, or to a stuck chain by prying the kerf open. Practical tips Drive wedges with a safe striking tool such as a hammer or maul; inspect wedges for cracks or damage before use. Store dry and clean to prolong service life and ensure consistent performance. Keep spare wedges available when working on multiple trees or in remote locations. This 3 pack of 8 inch ABS logging wedges provides a compact, reusable solution for directional felling, bucking, and log splitting tasks, delivering reliable kerf control without the weight of metal wedges.
