MAX4466 Electret Microphone Amplifier Module with Adjustable Gain

The MAX4466 Electret Microphone Amplifier Board This compact breakout board brings a fully assembled and tested electret microphone amplifier to your project. A 20–20KHz electret microphone is already soldered on, so you can add clear audio capture to your build without any additional wiring or setup. The board is built around the MAX4466 op-amp, which is designed specifically for this kind of delicate amplification work. Clean and Reliable Audio Capture The MAX4466 includes supply noise rejection, which keeps the amplified signal clean and free from the scratchy background noise often found on other microphone amplifier breakouts. This makes it a dependable choice when you need consistent audio quality in your project, whether you are capturing speech, sampling sounds, or building audio-reactive effects. Adjustable Gain for Flexible Use A small trimmer pot on the back of the board lets you set the gain anywhere from 25x to 125x. This gives you direct control over sensitivity, so you can match the amplifier to your specific input level and project requirements. The adjustment is straightforward and can be tuned on the fly. Project Applications This amplifier is well suited to voice changer builds, audio recording and sampling setups, and audio-reactive projects. Its compact form factor and simple connectivity make it easy to integrate into a wide range of electronics work.
