Rectangular Float Switch for Automatic Liquid Level Control This rectangular float switch offers dependable automatic liquid level control for tanks, wells, barrels and sumps. Operating on the simple and reliable principle of buoyancy, it provides straightforward switching action as the liquid level rises and falls, making it a practical choice for managing water levels in a range of domestic and light commercial settings. Simple Installation and Reliable Operation Designed for ease of use, the switch is simple to install and requires no complex setup. Its automatic adjustment helps maintain the desired liquid level without constant attention. The unit is sealed with polypropylene for good sealing performance, while the robust construction is built for safe and reliable operation in everyday use. Technical Specifications and Compatibility The float switch is rated for use with motors up to 750W directly; for motors at 750W, an AC contactor is recommended. It operates at a rated voltage of AC 380V, with a maximum current of 16A (10A) or 16A (5A) depending on configuration. The maximum operating temperature is 90°C, and the unit carries an IP68 rating for protection against dust and prolonged immersion. The 5m cable provides flexible placement within the tank or well. Versatile Application This float switch is well suited to controlling electric pumps in a variety of settings, including water tanks, pools and sump pits. It can also be fitted to a submersible pump to help control operation and offer protection when liquid levels run low, supporting reliable pump management in a range of situations.
