ESP8266 WiFi Clock Kit with Automatic Time Synchronisation This IoT-enabled clock kit is built around the ESP8266 module, which connects to your WiFi network to update the time automatically. Once connected, the clock stays accurate without any manual setting, making it a reliable addition to a desk, workbench or bedside table. The digital display shows the time, date, day of the week and temperature at a glance, and you can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats to suit your preference. Customisable Display and Alarm Functions The display colour and brightness are fully adjustable, with high, medium, low and adaptive brightness options to keep viewing comfortable in different lighting conditions. You can also set the clock to cycle through colours for a more varied look. Three separate alarm clocks are available, each with a choice of four alarm tones, so you can set multiple reminders or wake-up calls according to your routine. Energy-Efficient Operation Running on a low-voltage 5V DC power supply, the clock draws an average current of 250mA and supports up to 500mA during startup. Power is supplied via USB, which keeps the setup simple and portable, allowing you to use the clock wherever a USB power source is available. DIY Assembly and Learning Experience This is a hands-on DIY kit that requires soldering and assembly. The components on the front of the circuit board come pre-soldered, so you only need to solder the elements on the back.
