Coaxial Centring Indicator for Precision Machine Work This coaxial centring indicator is a practical measuring tool designed to help you locate the relative centre of a machined workpiece quickly and accurately. Using a lever mechanism, it transfers the workpiece centre position to the dial face, converting it into a clear angular movement of the pointer. It is particularly useful for finding the centre of external diameters and internal bores on drilled or milled components, offering a precise, convenient and highly visible method for alignment work. Simple Operation Across Machine Types The indicator is supplied with a 3/8 inch mounting shank and offers a capacity of 5/32 to 4-1/4 inch internal diameter or 0 to 4-1/4 inch external diameter. It is a professional tool for locating the workpiece centre on drilling or milling machines, as well as for checking lateral centre diameters. The unit can be switched between horizontal and vertical machines, and from internal to external diameter work, simply by replacing the stylus without any further modifications. A recommended spindle speed of 100 rpm should not be exceeded for best results. Clear Readout While the Spindle Rotates As the machine spindle turns, the dial face remains stationary in any desired position, allowing the operator to keep both hands free for precise positioning of the worktable. The scale faces the operator during rotation, making it easy to monitor and adjust. With a measuring range of 0 to 0.15 inches and a resolution of 0.0005 inches, this coaxial indicator enables fast and accurate centring for both drilling and milling operations on horizontal or vertical machines. The set comes complete with a storage box to keep the indicator and accessories protected when not in use.
