Stainless Steel Y-Strainer GL11W-16P BSP Female Thread Pipe Filter 1/2" 3/4" 1"

Stainless Steel Y-Type Strainer for Pipe Systems This Y-type strainer is manufactured from 201 stainless steel and features the model designation GL11W-16P. It is designed with internal threads and an internal wire mesh element, making it a practical choice for filtering debris and impurities from liquid flow within pipe systems. The unit is available in a black finish and comes in connection sizes to suit 4-point, 6-point, and G3 fittings, offering flexibility for different installation requirements. Construction and Filtering Performance The body of the strainer is built from 201 stainless steel, providing good corrosion resistance and durability for everyday plumbing and industrial applications. The internal wire mesh captures particles and sediment, helping to protect downstream equipment such as valves, pumps, and meters from damage and blockages. The Y-shaped body design allows for straightforward installation in horizontal or vertical pipe runs, while the internal thread connections ensure a secure fit with compatible pipe threads. Sizing Options and Installation This strainer is offered with internal thread options to match 4-point, 6-point, and G3 pipe sizes, allowing you to select the version that best suits your existing pipework. The black finish adds a uniform appearance, and the compact Y-type configuration makes it suitable for use in confined spaces where a straight-line filter would be impractical. Before fitting, check that the thread size matches your pipe connections to ensure a leak-free seal.
