Self-Adhesive PVC Floor Transition Strip for Carpet to Tile Thresholds, Cuttable Edge Trim, 3.5 cm Wide, Grey, 16 m

Threshold Strip for Smooth Floor Transitions This PVC threshold strip creates a neat, secure transition where different flooring surfaces meet. Designed for doorways, room entrances and any point where two floor areas leave an exposed gap, it works well between carpet and floor tiles, from floor to carpet, or carpet to floor. At less than 5 mm in height and 3.5 cm wide, it sits low and unobtrusive while providing a tidy edge finish. Practical and Durable Construction Made from high-quality PVC, this transition strip is soft yet tough enough to cope with busy areas around the home. It is water-resistant, lightweight and simple to keep clean, making it a practical choice for everyday use. The strip is also easy to cut to length, so you can tailor it precisely to your doorway or threshold. Simple Self-Adhesive Installation The strip comes with adhesive tape on the back for straightforward fitting. Peel off the backing, position the strip where needed and press it into place to secure the carpet edge. On uneven surfaces such as concrete, if the tape does not hold firmly, you can reinforce it with construction adhesive or nails, which you would need to supply yourself. Non-Slip Surface for Safer Access The surface of the strip is designed to increase friction and help prevent slipping, offering more secure footing when moving across the threshold from any direction. This makes it a sensible addition to high-traffic areas where a smooth, level transition matters.
