MC-38 Surface Mount Wired Magnetic Reed Door Sensor Switch, White, 2 Pack

What It Is This two-pack of MC-38 surface mount wired magnetic reed switches offers a straightforward way to add door and window monitoring to a wide range of setups. Each switch uses a normal opening ABS closing contact design, making it a practical choice for basic security or automation projects around the home or workshop. How It Works The switch activates when the magnet comes within approximately 10 to 15mm of the sensor, providing reliable detection as a door or window closes. With a maximum switching current of 0.5A, it is well suited to low-power signalling applications such as connecting to an alarm panel or smart home controller. Installation and Mounting Fitting is simple and flexible. Each unit includes a self-adhesive bracket for quick, tool-free placement on smooth surfaces, while the option to screw mount provides a more permanent fixing where needed. The wired connection keeps installation straightforward, and the white finish helps the switches blend discreetly with most frames and trims. Package Contents Two complete MC-38 surface mount magnetic reed switches are supplied in this pack, each with the necessary bracket for mounting.
