Electronic Load Resistor Tester with Switch, Adjustable 5V 1A/2A/3A Battery Capacity Discharge

Adjustable Electronic Load Resistor Tester This compact electronic load resistor tester provides a practical way to discharge and test batteries and power sources at 5V. With its integrated switch system, the unit allows you to select between different resistance paths, making it a versatile tool for checking battery capacity and voltage discharge behaviour. The design is straightforward to use, offering a simple method for evaluating the performance of your power supplies. Switchable Resistance Settings The unit is built around a parallel resistance circuit, following the formula R=1/(1/R1+1/R2+...+1/Rn). By operating the built-in switches, you can engage different resistor combinations. When all switches are open, the device provides a 2.2 Ohm / 10W load. Engaging the appropriate switches also allows for a 4.7 Ohm / 10W load, or both resistors in parallel simultaneously. This parallel configuration, when powered at 5V, is capable of drawing a discharge current of nearly 3A, giving you flexibility for different testing scenarios. Practical Testing Use This tester is suited for a range of low-voltage testing tasks. The actual current drawn can be calculated using Ohm's law (I = V/R), allowing you to predict and set the desired discharge rate for your specific test. Whether you are checking the health of a battery pack or verifying the output of a USB power source, this adjustable load offers a clear and direct method for assessing performance under controlled conditions.
