Magnetic Planer Blade Setting Jig – Knife Adjustment Measuring Gauge for Jointer Planers

Dovetail Gauge for Planer Knife Adjustment This two-piece set provides a straightforward way to set planer blades with accuracy, helping you achieve consistent results without repeated trial and error. Designed to fit most planer blades, the gauge works across a range of planers, thicknessing machines and combination machines, making it a versatile addition to any workshop. Micro-Adjustable Magnet for Precision Each gauge features a micro-adjustable magnet that holds the blade securely while you set the height. This allows you to position new planer knives with reliable alignment, reducing the risk of uneven cuts or blade chatter during operation. The magnetic base keeps the unit stable while you work, so adjustments stay precise. Simple and Efficient Setup Using the gauge is straightforward: place the measuring unit over the knife, stabilise it, and adjust the blade to the correct height. This simplifies the process of setting knives in a cutter head, saving time compared to manual methods. Whether you are fitting replacement blades or checking existing settings, the tool helps you complete the job with confidence. Practical Workshop Tool Supplied as a set of two, these gauges are suitable for repeated use across different machines. Their compact design makes them easy to store alongside other planer accessories, and the magnetic operation means no additional clamping is required. A practical choice for anyone who regularly maintains planer or thicknesser blades.
