Fluoride Filter Replacement Elements These two replacement fluoride filter elements are designed for use with compatible water filtering systems, offering a straightforward way to maintain your purification setup. Each element is built for easy installation, so you can keep your system running without unnecessary hassle. Priming Your New Filters Before use, each fluoride filter needs to be primed to ensure it operates correctly. Start by turning the filter over and priming the opposite end, reversing the flow of water, and repeating the process until water runs clear from both directions. This simple step prepares the filter for effective service. Cleaning and Preparation With the blue caps still in place, wash the exterior of each fluoride filter element using water and mild dishwashing soap, then rinse thoroughly. With clean hands, remove both blue caps from each end of both filter elements before proceeding. How to Prime the Filter Place the tan coloured rubber priming button onto one end of a fluoride filter, aligning the hole of the filter with the hole of the rubber washer. Hold the priming button up against the sink faucet so that it creates a seal between the faucet and the fluoride filter. Place your thumb on top of the faucet to apply pressure for a better seal. While holding the priming button against the faucet, turn on the cold water slowly, allowing water to fill the cavity of the filter and flow from the opposite end. Allow the water to flow for at least a few minutes or until it runs clear.
