The blue rods have a diameter of about 1cm, the grey and white rods are both 1.5cm, the purple rods are 1.8cm, and the orange rods are 2.2cm. Having five distinct sizes helps you tell your hair sections apart at a glance and choose the right rod for each part of your head, so you can create consistent, well-defined curls across different hair types. Simple to Use Without Heat If you are new to curling or prefer to avoid electric curling irons, these perm rods offer a straightforward alternative. Simply wrap your hair around the rods while it is half dry, secure them in place, and then dry your hair using the warm setting on your hairdryer. Leave the rods in for ten to thirty minutes before removing them to reveal your finished curls.
