Détails du produit

5.8G Microwave Doppler Radar Sensor for Human Detection, Ultra Low Power Proximity Sensor

What It Is This is the Taidacent MG58520 proximity microwave Doppler radar sensor, designed for ultra-low-power human detection. Operating on a supply voltage of 2.2 to 4.8V, it uses 5.8GHz microwave Doppler technology to sense movement and presence without the need for infrared or optical line of sight. How It Works The sensor emits a low-power microwave signal and detects changes in the reflected frequency caused by moving objects, including people. This makes it well suited to presence and motion sensing in a range of battery-powered or energy-conscious applications where minimal current draw is essential. Practical Applications Because of its compact design and low voltage requirement, the MG58520 is a practical choice for embedded projects, security devices, smart home automation, and occupancy detection systems. Its ability to work at voltages as low as 2.2V also makes it compatible with a variety of battery configurations and low-power microcontrollers. Key Considerations The sensor is supplied as a single unit and requires integration into your own circuit or enclosure. It is intended for use in electronic design and prototyping, and should be installed according to your project's specific requirements.
