Collapsible Shower Threshold Water Dam Barrier for Wet and Dry Separation, 39 Inch

Shower Threshold Water Dam for Wet and Dry Separation This collapsible shower threshold water dam creates a practical barrier that keeps water contained within your shower area while helping to maintain a dry floor outside. Measuring 1.1 inches in height and 0.62 inches in width, this 39-inch strip is made from flexible silicone rubber that can be shaped to suit your space. It is particularly well suited to walk-in or curbless shower designs, where it helps to prevent water from spreading across the bathroom floor. Soft, Safe and Flexible Material The silicone rubber construction is soft to the touch yet tough enough for everyday use. It resists corrosion, high temperatures and abrasion, so it holds up well in damp environments. When stepped on, the strip bends rather than cracking, and it can be trimmed or cut to the exact shape you need, making it easy to fit around corners or unusual layouts. Simple Self-Adhesive Installation Fitting the water dam takes only a few minutes. Start by cleaning the floor to remove water and dust, then decide where you want the barrier to sit and mark the position with a pen. Peel off the adhesive backing and press the strip firmly into place. The strong self-adhesive backing grips the floor with minimal effort, and the two ends can be joined neatly. Where the strip meets the wall, apply sealant to create a watertight finish, and run a thin layer of glue along both sides of the strip for extra security. Versatile Use Around the Home Beyond the shower, this water barrier works well in the kitchen, bathroom or around a sink, wherever you want to keep wet and dry areas separate. Its flexible, foldable design means you can bend it into whatever configuration your space requires, helping to hold water inside the threshold and prevent overflow onto surrounding floors.
