UHC Filter for 1.25 Inch Telescopes, High Contrast Deep Sky Object Filter for Clear Views

A High-Contrast Filter for Brighter Deep-Sky Views This UHC filter is designed to improve the visibility of deep-sky objects when observing from urban and suburban locations. By filtering out the wavelengths associated with light pollution, it helps to darken the background sky and increase contrast, making nebulae and other faint objects easier to see. The filter is a practical addition for astronomers who want to make the most of their viewing sessions even when observing from areas affected by artificial light. Precision Optics for Clearer Observations The filter is built on precisely polished substrates, with careful attention paid to parallelism and surface accuracy. A double-sided fine-polishing process helps to maintain optical quality across the surface of the glass. This level of construction is intended to support consistent, clear views without introducing unnecessary scatter or distortion, so you can concentrate on the detail in the eyepiece. Simple to Fit and Ready to Use With a standard 1.25 inch diameter, this filter fits directly into a compatible eyepiece barrel and is held securely in place within a fixed cell. It is straightforward to install, allowing you to switch between filtered and unfiltered views with ease. Whether you are tracking down a faint galaxy or a bright planetary nebula, this filter is a straightforward way to enhance contrast and make the most of your telescope under less-than-perfect skies.
