Brass Round Bar for DIY Projects and Model Making This brass round bar is machined from high-quality raw material, offering a dependable combination of grip, strength and durability. Brass is naturally harder and stronger than copper, while remaining more workable than steel, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of practical applications. Each bar is supplied as a single piece, ready for cutting, shaping and finishing to suit your specific project requirements. Excellent Workability and Mechanical Properties The bar features good thermoplastic condition, which means it responds well to heating and forming. It offers wide and easy fibre welding and soldering, allowing for clean, secure joints during assembly. With good mechanical properties and excellent ductility, the material flows slightly under pressure, making it easier to machine, file and polish than harder metals. This combination of strength and malleability makes it particularly well suited to precision work where a balance between rigidity and ease of handling is required.
