10.24 Inch Flat Bottom Iron Wok with Glass Lid and Wooden Handle, Uncoated Wrought Iron Stir-Fry Pan

A Wok with a Four-Century Heritage This 10.24-inch iron wok carries a craft tradition that reaches back to 1661, when its founding workshop first began shaping Chinese iron cookware during the Qing Dynasty. That long heritage of wok-making now comes to the modern home kitchen in a flat-bottomed pan designed for everyday cooking. The deep, lightweight design suits a wide range of dishes, from quick weeknight stir-fries to more leisurely one-pan meals. Fast, Responsive Heating from Refined Wrought Iron The wok is made from high-purity wrought iron, often described as refined iron, which gives it a distinct advantage over traditional cast iron. It heats up quickly and responds promptly to changes in temperature, giving you strong searing power and the control needed for proper stir-frying. Whether you are cooking over gas, electric, or induction hobs, the flat base sits steadily and distributes heat efficiently across the cooking surface. A Naturally Nonstick Surface without Chemical Coatings There are no synthetic coatings on this wok, so there is nothing to peel, flake, or wear away over time. Instead, the iron surface develops its own natural nonstick patina through regular seasoning and use. This makes it a practical choice for those who prefer cooking on bare iron, as the more you use it, the better the surface becomes for releasing food and building flavour. Thoughtful Design for Everyday Cooking The 10.24-inch diameter and deep sides give you generous room for tossing ingredients, while also making the wok suitable for pan-frying, shallow frying, and preparing complete one-pan meals. A tempered glass lid allows you to keep an eye on your cooking while trapping steam to help food cook through evenly. The wooden handle sits comfortably in the hand and includes a hanging loop, so the wok can be stored easily when not in use.
