Benchtop Dual-Wheel Honing System

A purpose-built electric honing device made from engineered plastic, rated at 100W and designed for broad voltage compatibility (110–220V), ensuring dependable UK mains operation. Its core functionality revolves around two fixed-position grinding wheels — white and red — arranged on opposite sides of the drive shaft to serve complementary roles: the white wheel handles initial profiling and bevel setting, while the red wheel refines edges and improves surface finish. Speed is tuned using an inline rotary controller integrated into the power cord — enabling real-time, one-handed adjustment without pausing work or moving away from the bench. Stability comes from a reinforced suction-cup base that seals tightly on smooth, non-porous surfaces, and operation is simplified by a large, front-mounted red toggle switch. A correctly sized Allen wrench is included for all internal adjustment points.
