Flexible 5m 3-Core Underground Spiral Cable

This 5-metre stretchable underground cable uses three 14AWG oxygen-free copper conductors inside a durable, flexible PVC-sheathed spiral coil. Overall diameter: ~9.2 mm; approximate weight: 0.85 kg. Designed specifically for direct burial in residential, horticultural and light industrial settings across the UK and EU. Its helical construction allows smooth extension and recoil while maintaining conductor separation and insulation integrity. Copper ensures longevity under damp soil conditions and repeated thermal cycling — far superior to CCA (copper-clad aluminium) alternatives prone to breakage at bends. The cable remains pliable down to -10°C, supporting year-round installation. Typical use cases include powering buried irrigation valves or pond pumps; bridging gaps between existing buried mains and new sensor nodes; and creating adaptable lighting circuits in heritage landscapes where trenching must be minimised and future reconfiguration anticipated.
