Optical Glass Pyramid Prism Teaching Tool

Dimensions: 6.50 × 5.70 × 5.70 cm (2.55 × 2.24 × 2.24 in). Constructed from homogeneous, bubble-free optical glass with high transmission across visible wavelengths (400–700 nm). Surface quality meets λ/4 flatness specification per face, minimising wavefront distortion. Edges are finely chamfered for safety and longevity. Delivers predictable light deviation (approx. 30°–45° depending on incident angle) and vivid chromatic dispersion due to its apex angle and refractive index (~1.52). No coatings or adhesives — pure monolithic glass ensures long-term stability under normal indoor conditions. Used by UK primary and secondary schools for KS3/KS4 physics curriculum topics including reflection, refraction, and the electromagnetic spectrum. Also supports university-level optics labs and creative applications such as projection art, window displays, and minimalist desk accents.
