RS232 DB9 Port Sharing Switch

Size: 118 × 94 × 38 mm. Heavy-duty metal chassis. Black finish. Complies with EIA/TIA-232-F electrical specifications. Accepts standard DB9 male connectors on all ports (input and output). No external power source required — operates via signal-line power harvesting. Enables seamless serial device sharing: choose between 4-computer → 1-device mode (ideal for shared lab instruments) or 1-computer → 4-device mode (ideal for centralised monitoring). Switching is purely hardware-based, with no internal logic chips or memory — guaranteeing zero firmware vulnerabilities and infinite operational lifespan. Deployed where reliability trumps convenience: manufacturing cells running 24/7, remote telemetry hubs with limited service access, and education labs teaching serial communication fundamentals — all benefiting from transparent, observable, and repeatable port control.
