360-Degree Clear Insect Catcher

This handheld insect observation device uses lightweight ABS and PVC construction for durability and ease of carry — measuring 12 cm tall and 6 cm wide, and weighing only 85 g. Its standout feature is a continuous, rounded ultraclear viewing window that enables full 360-degree, distortion-free observation — ideal for studying morphology and behaviour in real time. Capture and release are achieved via a tactile, low-resistance thumb-slide switch that opens and closes the sealed base chamber without requiring grip strength or dexterity. Purpose-built for UK primary/secondary science curricula, family nature trails, RHS-aligned gardening projects, and local biodiversity audits — always prioritising insect wellbeing and observational accuracy.
